Bear close up profile
I was walking on a well worn Bear path along a river with a couple of fellow photographers when we spotted this Bear walking on the path comming in our direction. The policy in Bear Country when encountering a Bear on a trail is "Bears have the right of way". This is not a hard rule to comply with so we slowly eased off the main part of the trail to give the Bear his required space. We then set up our tripods and cameras. Just before he got to our former position this Bear slipped into the river and swam across. Shooting with a 600mm lens, I took this shot with the Bear on the grassy river bank right before he went into the river.
