Bear at falls with Salmon
The Summer Salmon run is a very busy time for the Alaskan Brown Bear. Brown Bears travel great distances to fish for Salmon at the same fishing spots that Bears have been gathering at for thousands of years. Some bears will arrive before the Salmon even start running in anticipation of the impending feast. While the Bear above did miss the Salmon in the photograph, he did catch his share of leaping Salmon that day.
