Bear claw close up
Bear Claw on Salmon close up It is very important to realize that this photograph of a Brown Bear's claw on a Salmon was taken with a 600mm super telephoto lens from the safety of a raised platform. Brown Bears should never be approached and can be very dangerous if they feel threatened. I can tell you that just looking at these Bear claws magnified through my telephoto lens sent chills up my spine as I imagined what they could do to human flesh, if the Bear was so inclined. Fortunately for us, when given their much needed space and as long as we follow proper "Bear etiquette", Brown Bears generally don't want anything to do with humans. |
