Mother Bear sits with cubs
Mother sits with Cubs On the bank of a very crowded (with the Bears) fishing stream this mother Bear must keep her cubs close to protect them from the large male Bears that often kill cubs. This makes fishing that much more difficult for Mothers with cubs. Mother and cubs have got to eat so when there are fewer large males in the area the mother, with cubs behind her, must take advantage of the situation and catch a quick Salmon or two and head back into the safty of the woods.
