SharpPhoto.com is Ed Sharp PhotographyIf you are visiting this web site for the first time, you may only know Sharpphoto.com as the Custom Portrait studio website that it is today, but if you have visited sharpphoto.com in the past you may remember some things that were different here.The history of SharpPhoto.comThe Wildlife and Nature years  Established in 1997 as a way for me to market Wildlife and Nature Photography, sharpphot.com has evolved as my business has changed and grown over the years. Back in 1997 I was working as a photojournalist and running my Wildlife and Nature photography business as well. At that time sharpphoto.com featured my photos from Alaska to the Adirondack mountains of upstate New York . Photos of Brown Bears, scenics and pine Marten images were among the most popular on the web site. Sports and Event Photography  The year 2006 brought about changes to sharpphoto.com as I made the transition to digital photography and sold all my film cameras. I had begun working with professional level digital cameras since 2001 at The Post Star newspaper, but it wasn't until 2006 that I fully incorporated digital cameras into my own business. Now the focus of sharpphoto.com had shifted to selling sports and event photographs online. I could photograph a football game and have the images up online in a few short hours. In 2006 this was a fairly new service for photgraphy customers and needless to say customers were thrilled and business was booming. Some of you may stll remember seeing me photographing games with my sharpphoto.com shirt or may even have one of the old sharpphoto.com buttons.  Custom Portraits - back to my roots In 2008 I began accepting more portrait clients and found that I had come full circle, embracing the portraiture the skills I had learned in Photography school back in the 1980's. I am now realizing how much my experiences in other fields of photography have made me a better and more unique portrait photographer.Now sharpphoto.com is servicing my portrait clients and potential portrait clients as we head into the year 2013. So much has changed since sharpphoto.com's early years. Now we have Facebook and the new Google+ social networking web sites. In case you missed it sharpphoto.com aka Ed Sharp Photography does have a Facebook presence as well. I am sure the years to come will offer new and exciting additions to sharpphoto.com and Ed Sharp Photography and I would like to thank all of you that have followed our photography business over the years and I hope you keep in touch with us into the future..
