From the top of my pick up truck ,driven as close to the edge of this Sunflower field as I dared without fear of incurring the wrath of the farmer that planted these pretty yellow flowers, I set up my 4X5 large format camera. I then proceeded to capture the expressions of this sea of sunflowers that seemed to beckon to be photographed. Sunflowers can be a valuable crop and the seeds are harvested for use as feed and making of sunflower oil. Sunflowers also make good photographic subjects and I could never pass up the chance to photograph sunflowers like these!
