I have been very busy
working for commercial clients as well as shooting images for my sports
and Event photography business. There has not been as much time to shoot
wildlife and nature lately, but I do get out once in a while to shoot some,
but not as often as I would like.
Recent updates to this site April 2007 Wow it has been a long
time since I updated this page.
I have a ton of old 35mm slides that I was just going through and getting them scanned and online in on my list of things to do. I'm sure you have noticed
that my Wildlife and Nature business now shares this web site with my Sports
and Event Photography business as well as
I am shooting 95% digital now and while there are many things I miss about film, the quality and ease of use of today's digital technology makes it a must have for anyone in this business. I love all the benefits of digital and have embraced the new technology. I do my best to keep up with the latest toys and techniques. It holds true with traditional Photography that you are constantly learning new things, and with digital that is even more true. I don't have to work in
a smelly Darkroom anymore, but I do have to deal with eye strain from too
much time on the computer editing images, web site work and other computer
related tasks. To quote musical artist Joe Walsh,
Added the beginning of my landscapes from Alaska with the first Alaska page Other News The New York State Museum had me present a slide show featuring some of my Bear photographs as part of their Bear exhibit. .The Date was November 28, 1998, Thanks to all who attended!! The theme of the exhibit was Nature and Wildlife in the Adirondacks and the print was part of a large exhibit at the arts center . The Print "Falls on Algonquin Trail" was printed in 16x20 size and photographed with my Toyo 45c 4x5 camera. I hope to add this image to my web site soon. Some huge Photographs by Adirondack Photographer Nathan Farb were also on display with the exhibit as well as the work of many other talented photographers. Arts Center at Old Forge (315)369-2431 |
